Song Kang Ho makes history as the first Korean male actor to win the best actor award at the 75th Cannes Film Festival

 

Song Kang Ho made history with his performance in 'Broker'.

 

On May 28th, Song Kang Ho won the best actor award for his role in the film 'Broker' at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. This marks Song Kang Ho's first-ever Cannes win, as well as the first Korean male actor to win the award.

 

Song Kang Ho was invited to Cannes Film Festival for the 7th time this year and this was his 4th time nominated. In his acceptance speech, he thanked his co-cast and director Hirokazu Koreeda and shared his honor with Korean movie fans.
